Referral Policy

Applicants must re-sign the out of work list during the re-sign period from the 10th through 16th of each month regardless of when they initially signed and must come back to re-sign in person if their unemployment lasts one year. If the applicant fails to re-sign the out of work list during the re-sign period the 10th through the 16th of each month, they will be removed from all books that they are signed to.

You may re-sign online through Web Referral, in person, by mail, fax (920-432-0288), or use the contact form to send an email to remain on the out of work list. All re-signs by fax or mail shall include: name, phone #, re-sign month, original sign date and signature. Re-signs by Email shall include: name, phone #, re-sign month and original sign date. All re-signs must be received within the re-sign period. Early or late re-signs will not be recognized.

It is the applicant's responsibility to verify their re-sign has been received.

If you are on the out of work list and interested in working in the Local, it is your responsibility to call the office recorder (920) 432-0158, Ext. 7, or check online through Web Referral after 4:30 p.m. each day.

If you are interested in a call from the recording, you may leave a message to accept the call at (920) 432-0158, Ext. 7, until 9:00 a.m. the following business day. If you receive the call the Referral Agent will call you after 9:00 a.m. at the number listed at registration. Applicants will be referred for employment in the order they are registered on the out of work list.

It is the responsibility of the Business Manager of the Local Union to supply the manpower to the contractor within forty-eight hours of a request. In the interest of maintaining an efficient referral system, emergency referrals may have to be made outside normal hours using whatever means are available to fill calls and place registrants.
